The sunny sky turned into misty again and we stroke our way through. As we walked so slowly, we could not make to reach Gopte (as scheduled), but rather stayed at Phedi (3740m). On our way, I heard many times loud noises sounded like in windy environment. Later we discovered that they were avalanches, also called snowslides or snowslips. Quite stunning!
Phedi was shaded by surrounding mountains. Nearby, there was a Thai International Airbus crashed into a mountain in 1992.
The vision was very unclear and nothing could be seen on the other side
Upon arrival, Noel needed to take rest immediately. I was very worried about her as she hurt for every step she made.
There was another trekkers who were a family from South Korea, the son was a fire-fighter of age 39 and his parents of 60 something.
There was clouds filling the valley.
I found full moon that night
