After breakfast, we started our exploration onto the Kathmandu streets. The map seemed of little use and we rely on our sense of direction to look for places.

We were looking for exchange shop to get our US dollars into Nepalese Rupees, on our way searching for the treking shop. We pumped into a shop without any customer. I changed my Indian Rupees with a rate of 1.6, really good rate and then US dollars at a rate of 85. The shop keeper offered the rate after an easy bargain. When we asked him for direction of the treking shop, he called up the number for us, let us wait for people to fetch us, and made sure he was the right guy we were looking for. We have got the impression that Nepalese are really kind and friendly.
