After visiting Durbar's Square, we strolled back to Thamel back to our place, without any map. After half an hour, we relied on Noel's GPS on Galaxy Note to find our way. And we found that we had a wise choice of hotel, seemed like everybody knew the place and could point us the direction.

Then we walked in small streets in the area, searching for a place to eat.

This bright, buzzy and popular Israeli-run vegetarian restaurant is our favourite for fresh and light Middle Eastern dishes. The menu spreads to crepes, soups, zucchini pie, coconut tofu and ziva (pastry fingers filled with cheese), as well as a great meze sampler of hummus, felafel and labane (sour cream cheese) served in neat little brass bowls. The fresh mint lemonade is lifesaver on a hot day. All seating is on cushions on the floor and we had to take our shoes off.
Relaxing atmosphere, and an interesting menu with cloth cover

We were so greedy that we ordered lots of food, but cost us less than HK$120 as a whole

A very good end for our first day in Kathmandu
