Start Off
At 7:05, we met Gopal, our guide Babal & porter Locksman at the hotel. We then took a sabaru to the bus station, Kathmandu's Machha Pokhari (Fish Pond) junction, just north of the Kathmandu Ring Road, near Gongabu bus station.
First impression of the place was very similar to a typical Indian city, rubbish everywhere, people live in rough conditions. Luckily, the vehicle looked modern and well maintained.

At there our lugguge were put on the roof-top of the jeep and we four squeezed into the last row of the jeep. A family, with grandma, parents and 3 children jointed us in the trip. The jeep departed at 8:15 but it stopped for spare tyre, and other supplies. People jumping up and down to get a free ride.
As the road was so bumping, the father got some plaster bags for his family members. They all threw up during the trip. Really disgusting that the mother coughed her stuff out though the window, but it was blown back into the compartment by a flash current that I could just hid away from the direct hit on my face!
It seemed that there had been a few landslide along the road and the jeep needed to climb through muddy ponds and drove around large boulders.
Later, we stopped at a place for lunch, at around 11:00. It's too early that we felt not hungry at all. Wisely, we bought two eggs to be eaten on the way. Our bananas were ruined under the bumpy situation and could not be consumed. We were worried about the weather condition as it was still gloomy and with scattered showers on our way to the starting point.

Dhunche Tourist Check Point
Just before Dhunche, our guide presented or paid for an entrance ticket to Langtang National Park, as well as our TIMS cards.

At here, it marked the starting point for the Gosainkunda Trek, but we preferred not to start here as it would be more demanding for us.

After stopping at Dhunche, we followed the Pasang Lhamu Highway and got off at somewhere near Thurlo Bharkhu at 2:00 p.m., from there we walked for 3 hours to arrive at Thulo Syabru, stop for our first night.
First of all, we needed to tidy up our rucksacks and let our porter to handle them.

We needed to leave the road and walk up the trail.

Beautiful views with terraces and floating mist
