Ocean Beach
This day was the most leisure day for us in these two weeks' time. We got up lately and did the laundry (we went back and forth to find a a working and available washing machine and dryer between the roadside shop and the laundry room at the campsite). Then we drove out to the ocean. It's really windy and we could feel how tiny a man is in front of the roaring ocean.
Gordon River Cruise
As early as we settled down at Strahan the day before, we paid visits to all the agencies offering this Gordon River Cruise / World Heritage Cruise. After comparing the price, schedule, the food provided for the diner included, we decided to take this one, very expensive at AUS$96.

It is the route for our cruise : first across Macquarie Harbour to the Hell's Gates, then passed the Salmon Farms to the far end of Macquarie Harbour and the entrance to the Gordon River. We stopped over the heritage walk near the river delta and the Sarah Island at our return way to Strahan.
