Helsinki Boat Sightseeing on Beautiful Canal Route (90 minutes) 19 Sep 2019

It was covered by the Helsinki Card.  I was amongst the first few boarding the boat and I chose to sit in the middle.

Orange stalls in the Market Square

The boat departed from the bay

The cruise ships at the terminals on both sides

Finland's coast boasts the world's largest archipelago. The laid-back islander lifestyle and a strong maritime culture are key characteristics of this area.

Beautiful clouds

Suomenlinna
Suomenlinna (Finnish; until 1918 Viapori), or Sveaborg (Swedish), is an inhabited sea fortress built on eight islands about 4 km southeast of the city center of Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

A short bridge connecting Santahamina, the largest outlying island

It swung open to allow vessels to pass through the gap

It was really cool on the boat and many passengers left the deck and got to the cabin

The navy headquarters

Getting back to Katajanokka, which I visited early this morning
