Sardinia is a popular place for the Italian as they like to travel to this island for their holiday. Ryan Air offers economy flights from Barcelona and I picked this and to spend a week in the southern and western part of the island.
Festa di Sant'Efisio is a spectacular festival in Cagliari, happening in early May every year. It takes 4 days for the procession to travel all the way south from Cagliari to Nora and back.
