3.4.2008 - Back to Sofia

16:00

After 4 hour's bus ride, I went back to Sofia.  I had a leisure walk after the city.

Sofia is the youngest capital in Europe - only established as such in 1879.

Soldiers patrol outside the Presidential Palace.

Sofia Synagogue

Banya Bashi Mosque

the Mineral Springs

Party House, former HQ of the Communist Party

Sveta Sofia statue at the end of Vitosha Boulevard (the most busiest road in Sofia)

Sofia Bath the mineral baths

Currently under restoration, when completed, the baths will house a new city museum

Sunset at Yuzhen Park - most popular park for the city's youth for skateboards

the Thirteen Hundred Years Monument

It's learnt that I could not get my lugguge back as I would leave Bulgaria by night train to Belgrade.  That meant that I could not recharge my camera.  I needed to hold up my shots.
